What They're Looking For.

Must Have

HNC level or equivalent in Manufacturing /Electrical Engineering, ABB knowledge (IRC5), Siemens TAI & S7 PLC project development, Siemens S7 - General PLC Programming, Siemens WinCC / WinCC Flex project development, Ability to troubleshoot process control on automated manufacturing line, Revision & version management experience, Proficient in Microsoft Packages (Word/Excel/PPT), Ability to read and interpret drawings, Creation of SWIs, Lean manufacturing/ OEE workings, Continuous Improvement Activities, POKA YOKE (error proofing methods), Understanding of control systems, Root cause analysis/ 8D, Implementation/Optimisation of vision systems, Experience of process change management, Data extraction, Proven ability to train others

Nice to Have

Experience with robot end of arm tooling design & function, Understanding of VSMs, Previous Automotive T1 experience, Involved in APQP, PPAP, “Run at Rate”, Methodical DOE approach, Pneumatic Hydraulic and Mechanical fault-finding ability

What You'll Do.

Implement and program AMR Routes

Participate in Controls team

Specify AMR Fleet integration

Develop Assembly cells

Automate processes (CNC

Identify controls improvements

Diagnose and deliver solutions

Provide sustainable automated solutions

Dialogue with Production team

Develop and maintain process documentation

Work with AME and NPI team

Develop and implement process improvement strategies

Maintain grasp on daily performance (OEE)

Lead Continuous Improvement activities

Manage program back-ups

Manage version control

Resolve automation failures

Eliminate risk of spill

Provide key resource in new product launches

Integrate cell upgrades

Demonstrate cost justification

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Daily dialogue with the Production team; Work directly with the AME and NPI team; Work collaboratively to achieve project/company goals; Open minded to the impact of suggestions from the team

Communication Scope

Ability to effectively communicate; Effective communicator both written and verbal

Process & Methodology

Effective management of program back-ups, Version control
