Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward. ** _Revenue Recognition_** **Controllership Senior Specialist** ** _What this job involves_** * Oversee revenue accounting processes, including monthly close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting. * Lead and participate in all aspects of the revenue month-end close: prepare and review journal entries, revenue accruals, and account reconciliations, including bad debt and aging reviews. * Ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and related guidance, including routine checks and balances to confirm the correct general ledger accounts and periods. * Review and analyze contracts, master agreements, and key agreements to ensure proper revenue recording; prepare and maintain revenue schedules. * Conduct technical interpretation of revenue recognition for non-standard or complex transactions. * Research revenue accounting guidance; prepare technical memos, written policies, and contract summaries to document conclusions and support SEC and audit requirements. * Maintain comprehensive documentation and financial records for audit, compliance, and Sarbanes-Oxley purposes. * Partner with the Revenue Manager and finance/controllership teams across business units on complex transactions, missing information, and continuous process improvements. * Identify opportunities to improve revenue processes; develop, document, and implement plans for enhancements. * Support revenue
