Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward. ** _What this job involves_** * Oversee revenue accounting processes, including monthly close activities, account reconciliations, and related financial reporting. * Participate in all aspects of the revenue month-end close, including preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and supporting SEC disclosures and reporting requirements. * Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and related guidance, confirming that all revenue is recognized appropriately. * Perform preliminary contract analysis and prepare revenue schedules as needed. * Maintain documentation to support audit and compliance activities. * Research revenue accounting guidance as required and prepare technical accounting memos and contract summaries to support conclusions. * Coordinate with the Revenue Manager on judgmental transactions and address any missing information. * Maintain comprehensive financial and control records, along with supporting documentation, for audit and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. * Identify and implement process improvements; make recommendations to enhance revenue accounting procedures. * Support revenue-related projects, including system design, testing, and implementation of new or updated processes. **** **_Sound like you?
