What You'll Do.
Own the full accounting control of legal contingencies (labor
ensuring accurate recognition
Partner closely with legal teams to define appropriate accounting treatments and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Review and interpret quarterly updates to corporate accounting pronouncements
assessing impacts and communicating changes to relevant areas.
Act as the primary point of contact with corporate accounting teams for litigation-related topics.
Prepare and deliver financial reporting and presentations to global stakeholders.
Support forecasting activities
including FX analysis and variance narratives.
Support the Controller in Balance Sheet Review (BSR) and Country Finance Review (CFR).
Review account reconciliations and support issue resolution with controllership and quality teams.
Analyze accounting discrepancies (“fallouts”) identified during the close process.
Manage accounting and financial control of bank guarantees
including amortizations and non-automated transactions.
Support internal and external audits.
Contribute to M&A and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Identify and implement process improvements
including opportunities for automation and data analysis.
