We are looking for a highly skilled Controller to lead our accounting functions and ensure our financial operations are as precise and reliable as our technology. The Controller provides financial leadership across the organization and is the primary leader responsible for upholding our financial reporting and internal control environment. The Controller leads the accounting team, manages the month-end close process, and ensures full compliance with US GAAP and government contracting standards (FAR/DFARS), while supporting Firefly’s consolidated financial and SEC reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a blend of government and financial accounting experience, strategic oversight, and a commitment to operational excellence. **Responsibilities:** * Lead and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including AP/AR, payroll, subsidiary treasury, and general ledger activities * Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial statements * Work with the Firefly technical accounting team to manage revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 for complex governmen
