What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required, 5 or more years of experience in accounting or finance required, knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements, Proficiency in accounting software (SAP highly preferred) and Microsoft Excel, Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
CPA certification or CPA candidate is a plus, Experience working with BPO partners preferred, Experience coordinating with international teams preferred
What You'll Do.
Own standard accounting procedures
Preparing journal entries
Generating general ledger account reconciliations
resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
and reconcile intercompany transactions
Performing variance analysis to ensure financial statement accuracy
Supporting the preparation of month-end and year-end reporting packages
Performing additional duties as needed to support the close
Coordinate with the BPO partner to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable
and other financial transactions
Support tax and accounting audits
Coordinate with local and international teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting across different regions
Collaborate closely with the international Treasury department to manage cash flow
and financial risk management
Support internal controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements
Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting
and financial planning activities
Stay current with accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Participate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems
