### **🚀 Controller (FP &A + Financial Reporting + Team Leadership + GAAP/IFRS)** **Full-Time Remote | U.S. Business Hours** ### **💼 About the Role** We’re hiring an experienced and hands-on **Controller** to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and close processes for a growing business. This is not a bookkeeping-only role. This is a leadership position for someone who can: * own the numbers, * lead accounting operations, * strengthen financial controls, * mentor accounting teams, * and provide executive-level financial insights. You’ll work closely with: * leadership, * FP&A, * auditors, * operations, * and finance teams to ensure the company maintains: * accurate books, * strong controls, * clean reporting, * and scalable financial operations. If you thrive balancing detailed accounting oversight with strategic financial leadership — this role is a strong fit. ### **🔥 What You’ll Own** ### **Month-End & Year-End Close** * Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles * Maintain a **5-business-day close standard** * Review and approve: * journal entries * reconciliations * accruals * payroll allocations * depreciation * intercompany transactions * Deliver complete financial packages including: * P&L * Balance Sheet * Cash Flow Statements ### **Financial Reporting & Executive Insights** * Prepare GAAP/IFRS-compliant financial statements * Deliver executive-ready: * variance analyses * commentary * dashboards * reporting packages * Support: * board reporting * investor reporting * leadership decision-making * Translate financial data into actionable business insights ### **Internal Controls & Compliance** * Design and strengthen internal accounting controls * Ensure compliance across: * accounting standards * tax requirements * audits * regulatory obligations * Manage external audit processes and PBC schedules * Maintain audit-ready documentation and reporting ### **Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Management** * Partner with FP&A teams on:
