Full Job Description

Location: Hamptonville NC - On-site Job Summary: Manage some or all of the functions responsible for general and property accounting, payroll and benefit accounting, accounts receivable and payable accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, financial reporting and analysis, and budgetary controls. Duties and Responsibilities: Direct and coordinate the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and all related activities. Ensure that the division accounting procedures are in compliance with corporate policies and procedure. Oversee the preparation of statistics for financial statements, including the analysis and reporting of results to provide forecasts and identify problem areas. Interpret operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the business unit. Make specific recommendations to result in cost reductions and profit improvement. Develop financial data necessary for the preparation and evaluation of business plans and the allocation of funds. Establish and implement related methods and procedures. Ensure the correct and accurate accounting classification of all expenditures and documents. Provide timely, thorough evaluation of all CARs (capital expenditures). Supervise, train and evaluate staff. Provide advice and counsel to Senior Management regarding the organization’s financial objectives and management fiscal policies. Prepare and make presentations to Senior Management of the Group and Executives of the Corporation. Required Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities for Consideration as a Candidate: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Five to seven years of experience in accounting and finance in a manufacturing environment including two years of supervisory experience.
