What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Engineering degree (Electrical, Control, Software), Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design and implementation, Experience with control systems, and automation, Siemens PLC programming experience, Siemens SCADA programming experience, TIA portal, I-Device communication, Motion Control (VFDs and Servos), Siemens PROFIBUS and PROFINET, Engineering drawings interpretation, Engineering Change Control knowledge
Nice to Have
Licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, PELCO experience, Endura Certified System Technician
What You'll Do.
Integrate software and hardware components
Prepare software engineering documents
Perform suitability assessment
Implement and maintain project support systems
Manage change control
Maintain software files
Prepare work plans for change activities
Execute assigned scope in projects
Provide site support and software maintenance
Support selection and qualification of hardware
Collaborate with project teams
Monitor project progress
Provide technical support
Maintain and update documentation
Assist preparing validation tests
Review validation testing results
Report and suggest resolutions
Ensure safe work activities
