Must Have
Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field, Proficiency in testing analog/digital interfaces, ADCs/DACs, and high-speed serial protocols, 5+ years of experience developing, maintaining, and operating automated test routines for mixed-signal electronics, Hands on experience with high-speed oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and power supplies, Flexibility to work in fast-paced, mid-volume production environments with shifting priorities
Nice to Have
Working knowledge of surface-mount technology (SMT), including assembly and rework, 1+ year of experience with embedded software development in C/C++, Experience with CAE PCB design software such as Altium or Cadence

Develop automated test scripts for mid-volume electronics manufacturing
Design and implement test plans for high-speed
Develop test requirements and coverage matrices with hardware
Analyze test data to identify failure root causes
Implement corrective actions
Drive design-for-testability (DFT) enhancements
Drive continuous test improvement to improve test accuracy
Improve final product reliability
Adapt to new measurement requirements

The Amazon Center for Quantum Computing in Pasadena, CA, is looking to hire an Applied Scientist specializing in Testing of Control Systems hardware. Working alongside other scientists and engineers, you will validate hardware and software systems performing the control and readout functions for Amazon quantum processors. Working effectively within a cross-functional team environment is critical. The ideal candidate will have an established background in test engineering applicable to large mixed-signal systems.
