Bachelor's in Electrical, Computer, Engineering or Engineering Physics, Experience in complex control system environments, Experience with instrumentation, motion control, data acquisition, and distributed control systems, Familiar with C/C++, Python, Java, scripting, Exposure to EPICS or similar frameworks, Uses test & measurement tools, Works with precision devices, Supports system diagnostics and reliability, Works effectively with engineers and scientists, Four to seven years of relevant post-graduate work experience, Registered or qualifies for registration as a Professional Engineer in BC

The Controls Group plays a critical role in this mission by designing, installing, and maintaining the electrical and computer infrastructure that powers accelerator control systems across the facility. As an Electrical or Electronics Engineer, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and support advanced control systems that enable the remote operation of custom instrumentation used in cutting-edge experiments. Your responsibilities will include designing, testing, and maintaining control system hardware and software components, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing to system upgrades and optimizations.
