Participate in the Network Control Duty Roster, Support emergency response
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Superior communication skills, A desire to learn, develop and share knowledge, NZCE or equivalent tertiary qualification, Accreditation in the NZQA Standards for Network Controllers, Proven experience and skills in the Electricity distribution industry including in operating overhead and underground network and generation assets in both urban and rural areas, An excellent understanding of electricity network control operations, switching and permit documentation, SAIDI & SAIFI reliability measurements, A current understanding of relevant Legislation
What You'll Do.
Managing the day-to-day operation/control of the Network (including Transmission
Distribution and Generation assets)
Managing authorised/approved party access and interaction with the distribution network
Managing and completing all of the processes
documentation and activities for Action Switching and Work applications received from authorised/approved employees and contractors
Participate in the Network Control Duty Roster
Support emergency response
