What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5+ years’ experience negotiating terms and managing commercial and state & local contracts, 5+ years’ experience working with relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing commercial and state and local contracts

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s Degree, Familiarity with Engineering contracts and the utility industry, Familiarity with Deltek tools such as Costpoint and Contract Management Systems

What You'll Do.

Provide proposal and contracts support for Requests for Proposals and active contracts with commercial and state and local clients across the nation.

As needed and upon request by clients

review and negotiate reliance letters for the purpose of clients’ financial transactions.

Proposal support includes preparation

and management of documentation and forms required for state and local proposal submissions

ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.

Lead the contract review and negotiation process for new proposals

amendments to existing contracts

and new contracts with a focus on risk mitigation and overall value to the company

consistent with sound business practices

ICF policies and procedures

and government regulations.

Maintain all required contractual documentation.

Review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements

and subcontract agreements (when ICF is a subcontractor).

Identify contractual and/or RFP terms which may pose risk to the company and provide recommendations where applicable on strategies to mitigate.

Provide guidance and oversight

and work with client representatives to resolve operational and contractual issues that may arise during the performance of the contract

Proactively assess critical contract obligations and contract provisions

to include gaps and risks.
