Radar Reinvented. Echodyne offers the world’s first compact solid-state true beam-steering radar for a wide range of industries and applications. Our high-performance radars work in all weather and are designed for autonomous vehicles, uncrewed aircraft & drones, and security of borders, critical infrastructure, and smart cities. The company combines the patented technology of metamaterials with powerful software to create a radar sensor with unprecedented performance at commercial price points. Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM). Echodyne is seeking a Contract UX Designer to assist our in-house designer on features related to the EchoWare software portfolio. Contract Length - 6 months ROLE OVERVIEW This role is embedded with the core EchoWare team and maintains close coordination to ensure alignment with current capabilities, long-term plans, and evolving design standards. You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, solutions engineering and customers – translating user needs and business requirements into compelling experiences. RESPONSIBILITIES Create user flows, mockups, and low and high-fidelity prototypes. Collaborate with current UX designer to ensure alignment to overall product vision. Develop and iterate designs based on user feedback and stakeholder input. Ensure consistency with establish design systems, brand guidelines, and accessibility standards. Partner closely with development teams throughout implementation to ensure design quality and fidelity. Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership.
