Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year experience in a similar functioning role, technical/systems experience and skills (Salesforce, Excel, Word), Ability to quickly learn and work within Astra Zeneca administrative tools and multiple processes, Comfort working independently prioritizing and adjusting workload as business needs require, Demonstrated ability to project manage and organize each activity by working with and managing customers, Leading budget owners through the contracting process following standard operating procedures and working instructions, Understanding of purchase to pay systems/processes, procurement, attention to detail and organizational skills, Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English is the corporate language), Working with cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to partner effectively with others building a relationship of open communication and trust, High ethical standards, honest, operating with absolute discretion
Nice to Have
Demonstrated experience in a similar role or demonstrated ability to manage simple to complex projects/contracts, Prior experience in the biopharmaceutical industry (Sales, Marketing, Research & Development, Compliance, Legal, Procurement) or a consulting firm working with pharmaceutical clients, Familiarity with the technical and functional elements of requirements including but not limited to compliance, legislation (e. g. , Physician Payment Sunshine Act, EFPIA), data sources/quality, and reporting, Experience with compliance, finance, auditing, quality assurance/control, SOX and/or risk management, Global / cross-cultural experience

Full Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Contract Operations Specialist, a key role within the External Expert Engagement Services (E3S) team of the Global Business Services (GBS) unit. This position is pivotal in leading and ensuring accurate and compliant processing of contracting requests in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, and transparency/disclosure reporting requirements. The role also provides payment support related to management of associated payments when required. A successful candidate will have a project management mentality with a focus on responsiveness, partnering to conduct operational tasks to ensure accuracy and completeness of requirements, and will provide guidance to partners (customers), management, and peers. _Accountabilities_ * Reviewing and ensuring the completeness of incoming External Expert/Patient engagement applications and requests. * Managing the triaging of these requests to the appropriate reviewer and business area, offering guidance to guarantee the acquisition and retention of required approvals. * Performing preliminary reviews to safeguard against contracting with any individual or entity that is debarred, excluded, or restricted for any reason from doing business with the organization. * Ensuring the timely receipt of driven Letters of Agreement (LOA) and contracts in accordance with service level agreements before the program start date. * Managing provider requests for changes to LOAs/contracts * Collecting data elements to ensure adherence to physician payment reporting requirements for Open Payments, EFPIA, and other state and country regulations. This accountability extends to ensuring accurate and timely requests for required payment information by facilitating the timely receipt of necessary documents and collaborating with the payment team. * Contribute to design, launch, and other operations improvement projects as a subject matter expert. _Essential Skills/Experience:_ * Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one y
