As the Contract Manager you will be reporting to the Vice President – Marine & Governmental Business Unit, the Contract Manager - Governmental (Naval), is a Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) who will use Project Management Methodology alongside our core managements systems, to ensure that we deliver an effective and flexible service to our customers, on time, on quality, on cost, in line with applicable Defence Standards and the Rolls-Royce guiding principles as detailed in ‘Our Code’. This involves inter-facing with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver a first experience by assuming full responsibility for all aspects of the Contract Management including management of all work resulting from customer contracts, including commercial and financial delegations and authorisation’s, enabling day to day management and oversight of Naval and Governmental projects involving Rolls-Royce Solutions UK. Tasks include implementing and operating Project Governance, Reporting (inc, Planning), Risks & Opportunities Analysis, Dispute Resolution, Finance (inc, Cost Control and Commercial topics), Change Management and effective management of 3rd Party suppliers or contractors.
