Join us in our journey to an Electric Britain. The Opportunity EDF EPR Engineering plays a key role in delivering new nuclear power. As we support An Electric Britain, we’re building on the success of Hinkley Point C to deliver Sizewell C. You’ll join our Mechanical Branch, helping manage the equipment contracts that sit at the heart of the nuclear island design. It’s a chance to take on meaningful work that really matters. The Role As a Contract Engineering Lead, you’ll take ownership of the technical side of key mechanical equipment contracts for Sizewell C. You’ll make sure everything stays on track, meets requirements, and supports the wider project. You’ll also lead and support Technical Leads, helping the team deliver across design, manufacturing and qualification. What you’ll be doing: * Lead technical and project meetings for your contracts * Support the team to solve engineering challenges and keep delivery moving * Review and approve contractor designs and deliverables * Manage design changes and keep configuration up to date * Oversee contract updates, amendments and approvals * Coordinate Technical Leads and help prioritise their work * Plan resources to meet time, cost and quality expectations * Work closely with project managers, designers and client teams * Track performance and highlight risks early * Support qualification activities in line with project needs * Build strong links with Hinkley Point C teams to support design replication This role focuses on the Sizewell C project but has a strong link to HPC activiti
