What You'll Get to Do The Continuous Improvement Engineer is focused on business processes, new product development projects, supplier improvement efforts, and/or customer/product issues and reports to the OpEx Manager. This role is perfect for an individual who wants to develop professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. A vital member of the Continuous Improvement Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include: Value Stream Mapping processes, time studies, leading Kaizen events, creating Standard Work, audits/Gemba Walks, develop: PFD, FMEA, Control Plan, and Job Element Sheets, conducting root cause analysis using 5-Why, Cause and Effect Diagram, A3 tools, New Product Introduction (NPI) validation, creating test validation plans, Gauge Studies, and perform statistical analysis. Identify and eliminate WASTE through lean manufacturing principles; leading continuous improvement initiatives that drive measurable operational efficiencies across the facility. Create and maintain preventive maintenance checklists and schedules to ensure equipment reliability and uptime; document and evolve equipment troubleshooting guides to support frontline problem resolution. Develop training documents and maintain the training matrix to ensure workforce competency, standardization and compliance across all applicable roles.
