Full Job Description

****Job Description:**** **Continued Airworthiness Engineer** The Continued Airworthiness Engineer in the Airworthiness team in Airbus India, Bangalore, will work along with the Long Range Continued Airworthiness team in Hamburg, Germany and will be responsible for deliverables contributing to Local or Global Airworthiness Risk Assessment (depending on ROL1 / ROL2 nomination). **Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:** * Review of fleet events (in service, production or design) including GENOCC (Generic Occurence) * Management of any unsafe condition occurring in the fleet * Work towards Reportable Occurrence Level 1 / Level 2 delegation. * Organize Risk assessment meetings and preparation meetings for ARSs (Airworthiness Review Sheet) and ARMs (Airworthiness Review Meeting) as required. * Coordinate with Local Chief Airworthiness Engineer (LCAE) and other relevant Organizations. * Coordinate with site airworthiness personnel and design offices the preparation of justifications necessary to support the continuing airworthiness function. * Technical data capture. * Organize and follow-up activities required for preparation and closure of Reportable Occurrences and ARS, occurrence declassification, GENOCC validation, airworthiness queries (generic mailbox). * Support review of Airworthiness Directives (FAA AD’s versus EASA AD’s) * Responsible for the progress of activities and the respect of delivery milestones. You will also need to communicate the progress of activities to the airworthiness department. The role involved working closely with team in Germany as well as facing EASA panels on a regular basis. **You will have the following skills and experience:** * You have professional experience of at least 5 years in the field of aeronautics: Continuing airworthiness and/or certification, RAMS system (Reliability Availability, Maintainability Safety) or A/C activities, or system designer on Airbus Aircrafts.
