Full Job Description
This is an on-site, full-time, acting, exempt (non-hourly) position based in Costa Rica and does not offer relocation benefits. Job applicants must be located and legally authorized to work in Costa Rica in order to be eligible for consideration. The Sourcing Performance Operations (SPO) team provides world-class support to our stakeholders and global Vendor/Sellers, and we are looking for an Content Editor I to join our team. The Editor I is an IC (Individual Contributor) role that works as a content specialist for the team based in SJO, collaborating with Infraction Owners (IO's), Program Managers (PgM's), and relevant stakeholders. In this role you are responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality content including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, training materials, and communication templates. The Editor I is responsible for ensuring content accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all SPO documentation. You will work closely with Program Coordinators, other Content teams, and stakeholders to transform complex process information into clear, user-friendly documentation that supports our associates and vendor partners. Your work directly impacts the quality of our operations by ensuring that all team members have access to accurate, up-to-date procedural guidance. As an Editor I, you will be responsible for the full content lifecycle—from gathering requirements to publishing and maintaining documentation. You will interface between SPO members, Support Ops, Program Coordinators, and training teams—collaborating with numerous operational, training, and program management teams to create content that enhances Associate experience and operational efficiency. You will apply editorial best practices, follow established style guidelines, and ensure all content meets Amazon's high standards for quality and compliance.
