What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2 or 4 year degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resources or related fields OR high school diploma plus two years of Utility Vegetation Management experience, tree ID skills required, Ability to work independently in all weather conditions, Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Candidate must be self-motivated, organized, production oriented, Candidate must be comfortable working in an independent environment and managing a geographical area for all vegetation related activities., Candidate must be able to work with stakeholders, utility customers and line clearance vendors and have excellent interpersonal skills, Must demonstrate verbal and written communication skills, Multi-tasking and time management skills required, Ability to work in varied terrain and inclement weather with flexible schedules (available nights and weekends as needed), Valid Driver License required, Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
Nice to Have
ISA Arborist certification preferred, ISA Utility Arborist and pesticide applicators license preferred, Experience in utility vegetation management experience a plus, Experience working with GIS integrated data collection software/hardware preferred but not required, Utility experience a plus
What You'll Do.
Perform identification
and evaluation of trees and brush along utility
Submit inspection results to clients
and coordinate activities of assigned tree clearance
Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access
Serve as a liaison between clients
