In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy. This role will guide the Manufacturing Systems Engineering technical pyramid in championing standard work, technical reviews, and advancing the state of the art in Model Based Manufacturing and Machine and Process Health. # **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities:** * Serve as a recognized technical expert in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Model-Based Manufacturing, and Machine and Process Health, and provides consultation to management, all design, manufacturing, quality, supplier, and services organizations supporting engines life cycle. * Remain cognizant of state-of-the-art in Manufacturing Systems Engineering * Provide technical leadership in design reviews, task force, industrial committees, and design boards and technical pyramids as necessary * Work closely with Chief Consulting Engineers and Chief Manufacturing Engineers in adjacent areas * Enhance technical excellence across manufacturing organizations in Manufacturing Systems Engineering * Identify and recommend where improvements in knowledge of the specific discipline are needed or where technical training is needed * Establish a total quality management strategy to assure early involvement on manufacturing process / producibility matters * Provide leadership to help focus and integrate new technology smoothly into production * Suggest areas where technology advancements are needed and recommend approaches / programs to pursue * Lead / support study teams to address top problems within the organization or projects in focused technical are
