What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Three to five (3 to 5) years of prior valuation work experience is required, Experience as a key team member leading the development and ultimate completion of client-ready valuation deliverables (or similar client service deliverables), Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other related field
Nice to Have
Significant progress toward a ASA designation or similar designation will be looked upon favorably, Experience with Option Pricing Models (Black Scholes) and/or Monte Carlo simulation is preferred
What You'll Do.
Analyze historical and projected financial information
Develop detailed financial models to value companies and complex securities
Direct junior staff in developing detailed financial models to value companies and investments
Manage the aggregation and organization of large data sets in Microsoft Excel
Leverage financial and market data software platforms such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg
Present thorough valuation analyses to our clients consistent with the scope of the projects
Meet client deadlines and quality expectations
Maintain an organized
methodical and professional demeanor
Take ownership in the work product
including the analyses developed by junior staff
Communicate project status and results both internally and externally
Manage the deadlines of the project tasks undertaken by junior staff
Demonstrate report writing skills
Participate in a team environment and collaborate to share responsibilities towards attainment of team goals
Actively seek out opportunities for practice development projects and personal leadership skill development
Actively participate in BRG’s business development activities
including client meetings and presentations
Be ready to expand your network with clients to become a trusted and reputable advisor
