What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical / Chemical / Materials / related field), 5–7 years of experience in energy storage consulting, with a focus on BESS financial modelling and techno-commercial analysis, Proven expertise in financial modelling for BESS and RE+BESS tenders in India, including bid support and project economics, financial modelling skills — IRR, NPV, LCOE/LCOS, exposure to C&I storage and battery manufacturing models, Good understanding of energy storage regulations and market frameworks in India, analytical, quantitative, and structured problem-solving skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in client-facing consulting work, Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
Nice to Have
MBA or Master’s in Energy or Finance, Exposure to green hydrogen, battery manufacturing, or emerging clean energy technologies, Familiarity with Indian energy market regulations, DISCOM structures, and tender frameworks, Prior experience in a consulting or advisory firm
What You'll Do.
Lead consulting assignments and manage project teams in the energy storage and clean hydrogen sector
Develop techno-commercial and financial models for standalone BESS
battery manufacturing
and green hydrogen projects
Support clients in BESS and RE+BESS tender evaluations
and investment analysis
Conduct financial analysis including IRR
and sensitivity analysis
Analyse energy storage tender frameworks
and regulatory developments
Prepare high-quality client presentations
and strategic advisory materials
Mentor junior analysts and ensure timely execution of consulting deliverables
