Enabling clients to optimize the value of their supplier network and limit supply risks

Structuring and translating complex Supply Chain & Procurement issues into understandable language with concrete actions for the client; Cost reduction research; Maturity scans; Optimizing procurement and supply chain organizations
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Relevant WO master's degree, Active involvement outside of study (e.g., a part-time job, committee or board year, volunteer work), Interest in projects related to optimization, implementation, strategy, analytics, and change management, Good command of both Dutch and English and comfortable communicating in both languages within and outside the organization, Affinity with procurement or supply chain (or both!), Willingness to work in teams, take responsibility for own tasks, be proactive and possess strong communication skills
What You'll Do.
Streamlining procurement and optimizing supply chains
and implementing procurement and supply chain processes
Developing ESG procurement strategies
Creating clear and visually appealing analyses and reports to implement new strategies
or process improvements
Performing operational project management tasks
such as conducting interviews
coordinating client meetings
and preparing steering committees
Structuring and translating complex Supply Chain & Procurement issues into understandable language with concrete actions for the client
Executing cost reduction research for manufacturing companies
Performing maturity scans for procurement and supply chain organizations
Developing and implementing decarbonization strategies
Implementing procurement and supply chain tools
Setting up contract management organizations
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Working with colleagues from the Procurement & Supply Chain team and other KPMG teams on client assignments; Working together with colleagues on client assignments; Working in teams; Contributing to initiatives within and outside projects (e.g., team days or proposition development)
Communication Scope
Communicating in Dutch and English; Strong communication skills
Process & Methodology
Operational project management tasks, Coordinating client meetings, Preparing steering committees, Project-based work with assignments varying from 6 weeks to 9 months
