What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor, Master or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, U. S. Secret Security Clearance (U. S. Citizenship Required)
Nice to Have
Experience in aviation/aerospace, including manufacturing or assembly of aircraft., Hands-on experience with portable and fixed 3D measurement systems (e. g. , laser tracker, photogrammetry, laser scanner/LIDAR, structured light, CMMs, laser alignment, portable measurement tools)., metrology and measurement analysis background, including measurement uncertainty calculations and traceability., Experience with scripting and automation in common COTS 3D measurement post processing software., Proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and applying GD&T to measurement/inspection analysis., 3D modeling experience (CAD) and familiarity with 3D geometry, linear algebra, numerical methods, statistics, and computational geometry., Programming and software familiarity (e. g. , Python, C++, C#, MATLAB, LabVIEW) for automation, data processing, and analysis., Experience in a leadership position in the measurement/metrology field., Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and across geographic locations., Excellent written and verbal communication skills and time-management abilities to manage multiple concurrent projects.
