What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, 1+ (ONE) years of experience in affordable housing finance, housing policy, public‑sector consulting, government, nonprofit or mission‑driven organizations, Experience supporting affordable housing development, finance or program implementation projects, Experience developing or analyzing project budgets, financial models or pro formas, Familiarity with LIHTC, HOME, CDBG and/or other housing and community development funding sources, Working knowledge of HUD multifamily programs and relevant federal regulations, Excel skills (including pivot tables and lookup functions), analytical and research skills with attention to detail, Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a consulting environment, Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice to Have
Preference will be given to applicants who reside within a 50-mile radius of a Guidehouse office, Master’s degree in a related field, HOME Compliance Specialist (HCS) or similar certification, Experience with housing‑related data analysis, monitoring, or evaluation, Exposure to syndication, underwriting, or housing finance software systems, Experience with GIS platforms, such as ArcGIS, and data visualization tools such as Power BI
