What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6-9 years of experience as a Data Developer/Support and Integration Specialist, good knowledge and understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, solid understanding of databases, SQL, batch & near-real-time processing, programming skills in Python and Scala, understanding of cloud-native development, data processing frameworks, hands-on experience working with Azure, creating and managing data transformation pipelines using Apache Spark in Azure Databricks
Nice to Have
prior experience migrating on-premises applications and workflows especially from Hadoop-based platforms to Azure, Experience in application production support, logical thinking, organizational and troubleshooting skills, Ability to manage relationships with technology and business partners

As the Data Developer, you are responsible for the detailed technical design and development of data intensive applications using various technology platforms. The role performs tasks of technical depth and breadth, utilizing a solid understanding of business dynamics to conduct impact analysis and provide feedback on problems with recommended solutions. The Data Developer determines methods and approaches to projects, transforming business requirements specifications into programming instructions, designing, coding and testing programs. In addition, the role plays a key role in the development and implementation of database management solutions, development and implementation of data transformation and migration processes as part of the initiative of migration of on-premises applications to Azure. This includes building scalable data pipelines in and orchestrating pipelines using Azure Data Factor**y**.
