Vixxo is seeking a Construction Superintendent. (100% TRAVEL) THE ROLE Our team is looking for an experienced construction superintendent to monitor projects from planning to completion, including tasks such as budgeting and scheduling. They follow quality standards and ensure the safety and security of the construction site. A construction superintendent also communicates and negotiates with external partners, such as vendors and clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with various people, such as construction workers, architects, and engineers. This position is 100% travel within the United States. TOP RESPONSIBILITIES Purchasing/tracking equipment and materials Set performance goals and deadlines Plan construction processes and create job schedules Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget Assist in building millwork and other small work on-site Monitor and report on project progress Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities Resolve on-site issues and emergencies Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs Supervise onsite sub-contractors and provide constructive feedback QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 5 years experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes Proficiency in MS Office Organizational and time-management skills Ability to lead and inspire WHY VIXXO Vixxo wants your ambition, your experience, your talent, and what makes you unique.
