What You'll Do.
Attend jobsite Pre task meetings
Meet jobsite supervision
Identify critical work activities
Assist with development of work plans
Oversee critical work plan activities
Contact General Contractors/owner’s site safety personnel
Walk site with safety personnel
Follow up on items needing closure
Perform jobsite inspections
Review safety related paperwork
Verify pre task plan scope matches daily work
Interview employees on training and PPE
Verify equipment inspections
Ensure field operations compliance
Assist with training as needed
Discuss upcoming training needs
Assist in scheduling classes
Train crew members on safety systems
Conduct daily jobsite safety audits
Conduct daily Pre task audits
Update certification Training Data Base
Assist with accident investigation
Assist with incident investigation
Assist with near miss investigation
Develop safety alerts
Ensure root cause analysis performed
Develop mitigation methods
Provide documentation to Corporate Safety Department
Accompany injured worker through medical treatment
Ensure appropriate management of work-related injuries
Develop procedures to eliminate hazards
Recommend corrective actions
Recommend disciplinary procedures
Review required job site safety documentation
Coach and correct safety violations
Assist in new hire orientation
Conduct work area surveillance inspections
Conduct air sampling tests
Build relationships with Project Managers
Assist Safety Department as needed
Assist project team as needed
