What They're Looking For.
Must Have
15+ years of professional experience, 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or related field, A broad general engineering background, project/program management experience on similar project types, Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations, a thorough knowledge of current technology, ability to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on projects, Proven ability in team building, problem solving, conflict resolution

What You'll Do.
Manages the day-to-day operations of a regional office
Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution
Manages a staff of technical employees
Monitors the performance of all team members and augments staff as necessary
Develops staff through applied training and mentorship
Manages incoming work requests from local clients
Oversees the implementation and execution of all project processes and procedures
Promotes technical excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes
Monitors and reports to National Program management on the progress of all project activity within the program

Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. _**Job Description:**_ **T5 PROGRAM SUMMARY:** The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and certain reimbursable programs, the FAA NextGen Program, national security programs and aviation safety. Specifically, work includes site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA’s nine regions as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey and in several U.S. territories. An average staff of 500 with a peak staff over 650 supports this contract, in addition to those subcontractors who perform construction work. **POSITION OVERVIEW:** Provides direction and management to a team of Field Project Managers, Engineers, Construction Managers, Drafters, and Service Contract Act (SCA) field personnel for all work efforts in the region. The successful candidate is responsible for the business, technical, and administrative management of all activity in the region.
