Must Have
5+ years experience in ground-up commercial construction projects, Construction Supervisors License(s), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word required), Experience in applying for building permits and interacting with building inspectors, Experience in running multiple projects concurrently
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or applicable discipline is a plus, OSHA 30 hour certified preferred, CMiC a plus

**POSITION SUMMARY** The Construction Project Superintendent oversees all aspects of construction site operations, from planning through completion. This role coordinates field work performed by subcontractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Responsibilities include tracking schedules, managing change orders, ensuring quality control, addressing punch lists, and reporting project status. Additionally, the Superintendent promotes and enforces CBES’ safety program, ensuring all employees and subcontractors adhere to company standards and culture. This position reports to the Senior Construction Project Manager. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Supervision – manage all construction activities, divisions of work, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Scheduling – develop and sequence construction tasks appropriately. Update and implement changes in the operation as necessary to best meet client and construction deadlines. * Safety – ensure work is completed safely and within safety regulations. Ability to identify potential hazards and mitigate risk. * Budgeting – create cost estimates for labor, materials, and other project costs. * Quality Control – inspect work to ensure it meets and complies with all plans, specifications and building codes. * Communication – communicate with the subcontractors, management, and ownership on all levels. Conduct weekly on-site meetings with all subcontractors. * Daily Reporting – compile and submit a detailed account of the day's construction activities, including progress updates, safety, weather impacts, labor hours, subcontractor performance, and any potential issues, to keep the project manager and other stakeholders informed on all aspects of project. * Conflict Resolution – conduct mediation between subcontractors and labor forces as necessary. * Project Closeout – manage subcontractor closeout, transfer of utilities, owner training, “work to complete” list, and final punch
