What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6 years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry, Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience, Proficient in Project Management software, Proficient in financial accounting systems, Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (excel, word, power point, project), Personal Computer working capabilities in Adobe Writer, Personal Computer working capabilities in Visio, Personal Computer working capabilities in basic Windows environment, Able to execute projects of higher project and contract complexity
Nice to Have
Management experience with projects related to Mechanical Retrofits, Management experience with HVAC controls, Management experience with BAS management, Management experience with Fire management, Management experience with Security management systems, Experience in dealing with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, Knowledge of many different disciplines, Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Associate’s Degree with equivalent work related experience, PMI/PMP Certification

Maintain profitability goals
Review contract Terms and Conditions
Analyze financial reporting systems

Negotiate subcontracts
Ensure project document controls
Oversee project construction
Manage material selection
Manage material ordering
Manage material delivery schedule
Develop customer relationships

Coordinate resource allocation

Work with Owner and contractor sales managers; Work with branch installation manager and teams; Coordinate with CMS; Coordinate with HVAC Installation Manager; Coordinate with Systems Team Leader; Coordinate with Branch Mechanical Project Team Leader; Ensure subcontractors understand expectations
