On-location Site Project Manager in Louisiana, Willing to travel for extended periods, Extended deployment, typically ranging from 6 to 18 months with the ability to remain on site for the duration of the assignment, Travel up to 100% based on project assignment, Must hold or be able to obtain required State Certifications for Security Alarm Systems
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, Minimum of 6 years of related project management, construction supervision, or field leadership experience, Prior experience managing medium-complexity projects within the Security, low-voltage, life safety, or related construction environment, coordination skills with the ability to supervise multiple on-site activities simultaneously, Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, Willingness and ability to deploy for extended periods (typically 6 to 18 months) and travel up to 100% based on project assignment, Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Writer, Visio, and Windows-based applications, Experience supporting or leading project scopes of $1M or greater, Must hold or be able to obtain required State Certifications for Security Alarm Systems
Nice to Have
Associate Degree with 5–7 years of direct project coordination and supervisory experience in Commercial and/or Industrial Building Construction or 8 years of direct field experience in the Security or fire alarm life safety industry, Prior experience working on Major Projects or long-term site deployments, Familiarity with Johnson Controls project controls, safety standards, and QA/QC processes

Overseeing the entire construction effort to ensure timely completion within the defined scope
Maintaining project integrity
and customer satisfaction
Supervising all on-site activities for Johnson Controls
Coordinating Johnson Controls’ work with customers
and other site stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
and completing projects in accordance with contractual requirements
Performing daily site inspections to ensure quality
and customer satisfaction
Ensuring execution of work aligns with Johnson Controls standards
and contractual obligations
Submitting regular progress updates and field reports for integration into the master project schedule
including variance analysis
Addressing site conflicts related to work sequencing
and unforeseen conditions
Ensuring project documentation and controls comply with contract requirements and Johnson Controls policies
Communicating expectations clearly to subcontractors and ensuring adequate staffing levels to maintain project schedules
Serving as the on-site safety program coordinator and/or QA/QC lead
Participating in project meetings
and closeout activities

Team & Collaboration
Cross-functional coordination; Coordinating Johnson Controls’ work with customers, contractors, and other site stakeholders; Collaborate with the Major Projects team and assigned Project Manager; Coordinate daily communication with the Project Manager, customer, subcontractors, and other site contractors; Coordinate with Regional and Branch Leadership through the assigned Major Projects Project Manager
