profitable execution of assigned BAS Complex Projects; maintaining positive cash flow; project financial outcomes; maintain profitability goals and positive cash flow through timely and accurate project billings; ensure subcontractors understand project expectations
Industry & Context.
risk assessment; resolving disputes with minimal escalation; proactively address potential issues
Travel will vary based on project assignments, projects potentially located outside of assigned geography, travel of up to 25% into surrounding markets

Must Have
Proficiency in Microsoft Project Scheduling software, Proficiency in financial accounting systems, Personal computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), Personal computer skills in Adobe Writer, Personal computer skills in Visio, Personal computer skills in basic Windows environment, verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have
Management experience with projects related to Mechanical Retrofits, Management experience with projects related to HVAC controls, Management experience with projects related to BAS management, Management experience with projects related to Fire management, Management experience with projects related to Security management systems, Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, Associate’s Degree with equivalent work-related experience, University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, PMI/PMP Certification

managing the complexities associated with large construction undertakings
ensuring the profitable execution of assigned BAS Complex Projects
providing early sales support activities
ensuring the accuracy
and scope compliance of assigned projects
maintaining positive cash flow
actively pursuing change orders
compliance with state
and federal legal requirements
upholding the highest ethical standards
adherence to safety standards
following established project management procedures
acting as the primary internal leader for execution teams
providing direction to various internal and external teams
development and execution of project schedules according to plan
and collaboration with Project Engineers and System Application Engineers
evaluating the contractual scope of work
addressing the impact of client-issued bulletins
and/or scheduling changes
seeking additional work through change orders
performing associated cost estimates
negotiating final settlement prices and customer acceptance
managing company technical resources and subcontractors
reviewing and interpreting contract Terms and Conditions
analyzing financial reporting systems and project schedules
communicating project progress
and financial statuses to management
establishment of project recovery plans
preparation and issuance of subcontracts
ensuring project document controls comply with contract requirements and JCI standards
oversight of project construction for compliance with specifications
and installation techniques
management of the selection
and delivery schedule of materials
developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers
attendance at job progress meetings
coordination with HVAC Sales & Operations Managers

Service Operations Manager
and/or Branch Mechanical Project Team Leader for resource allocation
ensuring any engineering and commissioning performed by the field team aligns with established standards
facilitating the escalation of product-related issues
assistance to the Area Management Team and/or sales in project development efforts
coordination of customer training requirements
interaction with and direction to Truck Based teams assigned to projects under control
self-performance of sales support activities
self-performance of cost estimating
self-performance of project scheduling
self-performance of project management of assigned projects
development and maintenance of Microsoft project schedules
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaboration with Owner and contractor sales managers, branch installation managers, and other teams; Interaction, scheduling, coordination, and collaboration with Project Engineers and System Application Engineers; Coordination with HVAC Sales & Operations Managers, Construction Management Services, HVAC Installation Manager, Systems Team Leader, Service Operations Manager, and/or Branch Mechanical Project Team Leader for resource allocation; Interaction with and direction to Truck Based teams assigned to projects under control
