### **Job Description** ## **Overview** **AtkinsRéalis** is hiring a **Construction Project Manager** to join our Project Delivery team delivering Transmission and Distribution projects across British Columbia. This position will be based in **Vancouver, BC**. The work is diverse and includes, but is not limited to, the construction of new substations; work in existing substations, early site investigations and work on the transmission system up to and including 500kV. The role is mobile and will involve travel to potentially remote areas of British Columbia as needed by the project. The **Construction Project Manager** will report to the Director of Project Delivery. ## ## **Your role** _To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:_ * Support the Project Manager with project planning deliverables such as Outage Staging, Construction Management, and Constructability Reviews, * Review preliminary design drawings for constructability purposes to support Engineering including identification and mitigation of construction risks. * Monitoring and tracking of construction progress, prepare progress reports, identifying and alerting the Project Manager of any delays as needed. * Tracking and reviewing any contemplated changes during construction. * Working with the Project Manager to evaluate, negotiate, quantify and approve claims. * Facilitate construction management meetings between Contractors, the Owner, Engineering, and other key stakeholders. * Coordinate design and construction interfaces with other subcontractors including completion and handover process, inspections, deficiency lists, handover documentation. * Responsible for construction coordination and staging between various Contractors during construction, ensure construction drawings are updated and returned to engineering prior to closing contracts * Review and advise on proposal and tender documents. Support the procurement process as needed.
