## Description Project Manager – Commercial & Public Infrastructure Projects Location: Falls Church, VA Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Compensation: Starting at $95,000+ annually (salary dependent on experience and qualifications) Position Overview A growing construction environment is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial, institutional, and public-sector building projects from preconstruction through final turnover. This role is responsible for coordinating all phases of project execution while maintaining alignment with budget objectives, schedule milestones, safety expectations, and quality standards. Projects may include renovations, infrastructure improvements, site development, IDIQ contracts, lump-sum engagements, and accelerated construction schedules. ## What You'll Be Responsible For Project Planning & Execution Direct construction projects through all stages, from preconstruction and procurement to turnover and final closeout Assist with conceptual budgeting, project estimates, and proposal development efforts Develop execution strategies that support schedule, staffing, procurement, and production goals Coordinate project activities to ensure alignment between field operations and office-based teams Contract & Subcontractor Management Manage subcontractor sourcing, bid evaluations, negotiations, buyout activities, and contract administration Review subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements Coordinate vendors, suppliers, and service providers to support project schedules and deliverables Scheduling & Production Oversight Create and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms Track progress against established milestones and implement recovery plans when delays occur Work with field leadership to develop look-ahead schedules and short-term production strategies Evaluate sequencing and resource allocation to improve project e
