Must Have
Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Worker, or in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry., Applicants must own a reliable truck suitable for transporting materials/equipment as part of the job requirements., Ability to lift and carry heavy materials on a regular basis., Comfortable working in outdoor environments and in various weather conditions., Ability to safely operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment., Basic math skills to assist with inventory control and material management., Excellent communication and problem-solving skills., attention to detail and a commitment to speed, quality and safety., Hunger to be part of a team interested in being the best., internal drive & motivation, Bias for Action, and growth mindset., Ability to respectfully voice opinions, gracefully receive feedback, and collaboratively analyze and resolve problems., Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding construction environment.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the US construction field., Familiarity with modular construction processes is a plus., Forklift certification or other relevant material handling certifications., OSHA certification for construction safety is a plus.
What You'll Do.
Safely and efficiently distributing materials and tools between construction sites.
Transport tools and materials from Site Ops centralized inventory to the designated job sites.
Coordinate and execute material and tool returns from construction sites to Site Ops centralized inventory.
and organize construction tools & materials in Site Ops centralized inventory.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Perform regular checks and audits to ensure materials are accounted for and that there is no shortage or excess.
Safely load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
Operate material handling equipment
such as dolleys or pallet jacks
to move heavy materials.
Inspect and maintain material handling equipment.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for handling materials
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth flow of materials and tools.; Work closely with Materials Manager, Project Coordinator, Superintendents and Foremen to ensure tools and materials are available when needed and construction timelines are met.

What you will be responsible for: We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Material Handler to join our residential construction team. The Material Handler will be responsible for safely and efficiently distributing materials and tools between construction sites. This role requires attention to detail, strong physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth flow of materials and tools required for our onsite projects. Duties and Responsibilities: - Transport tools and materials from Site Ops centralized inventory to the designated job sites throughout the Southern Bay Area and Peninsula, as requested by the Materials Manager and Project Coordinator. Ensure timely delivery to avoid delays in construction schedules. - With Materials Manager, Project Coordinator, and Site Team, coordinate and execute material and tool returns
