ten (10) years of experience in the construction industry, solid understanding of current environmental codes and regulatory requirements applicable to airport-related construction, well-versed in all phases of vertical building construction, familiar with minimum code requirements, capable of navigating design documents and contract specifications with confidence, communication skills are essential, Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and SharePoint are required, Leadership & Team Management, Communication, Time Management, Problem-Solving, Adaptability, Negotiation, Attention to Detail

What You'll Do.

Overseeing field and construction activities

Performs QC checks on their own work product and that of their staff

Supports the APM in coordinating with other COA departments

PM and CDPM in change management & scope development

Liaison between contractors and internal field AUS stakeholders

Attend Contractor Progress (OAC) meetings

Verifying the construction contractors’ mobilization schedules

Has a detailed knowledge of the preparation

and maintenance of the project schedule(s)

Coordinate with the Program/Project Manager in collaboration with pre-construction and design teams to review plans & information related to constructability and all costs involved in developing the project’s execution

Reviewing and approving contractors’ Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Logistics plan(s)

Managing quality services related to oversight and supervision of construction contractors’ quality control services

adapting as necessary

and monitoring construction safety programs

Leading periodic construction meetings

and additional meetings if needed

to resolve issues impacting cost and schedule

Supports the review and negotiations of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) field costs

and General Conditions (GCs)

Working with AUS’s Environmental Officer to monitor compliance with all environmental requirements

Overseeing construction monitoring and associated reporting as required to confirm Contractor compliance with the contract requirements

Ensures that project site and company assets are secure and maintain a safe and respectful working environment at all times

Provides input to monthly pay-application reviews

Review Daily Construction Reports prepared by COA construction coordinators and weekly work plans to achieve schedule compliance

Supports the contract change order review process

In this role you will get to **work on the Austin Airport improvements project**. This person will be responsible for coordination and monitoring of overall field construction administration activities and support the coordination by the Project Managers of the management of engineering services on projects of a diverse nature in accordance with design specifications to assure that construction projects are completed in compliance with the drawings and specifications, within budget, and on schedule **What You 'll Be Doing:** * Overseeing field and construction activities that includes, as needed and approved by AUS, construction coordinators and other CM support staff.
