What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Engineering or business related degree, trade qualification, substantial industry experience, structured project management methodologies, current construction induction card, Valid driver’s licence, Project Management experience in a contracting organisation, project based business, Distribution Underground conduit and cable industry, Contract management of customer and supply contracts up to $4M, understand technical aspects of the work, Understanding of power distribution networks, Knowledge of work structures, conditions, tools and equipment, manage and takes accountability for all project functions, Financial Management, maintain budgets, drive cost accountability, HSEQ– risk assessment, legislative compliance, Core programming skills
Nice to Have
Project Management experience in a dynamic “live” environment, meet project hurdles

# **Primary Location** Epping, VIC # **Job Description Summary** Service Stream’s Power division are currently seeking an experienced Construction Lead to join our growing company. # **About the Role** You will be responsible for undertaking the planning, quoting and delivery of projects or parts of projects under contract for customers, ensuring that time, scope, costs, safety and quality objectives are met. **Nature of position:** Permanent, Full Time **Location:** Epping, Melbourne **Reporting Line:** Account Manager **Key Responsibilities** * Plan and manage assigned projects from initiation through to project closure * Responsible for project outcomes * Project scope definition and scope control * Project scheduling including on-time delivery * Project communication including reporting, project stakeholder management and management of project information systems * Management of project procurement activities including subcontract tendering and head/subcontract contract administration * Management of the design, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, testing and commissioning processes to complete project deliverables * Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the company’s project management systems and processes * Develop strong customer relationships at the project level * Manage the delivery of customer projects to ensure high levels of client satisfaction * Manage all commercial aspects of the project in cooperation with the Works/Operations/Project Manager * Ensure that the project activities achieve or better target completion dates * Manage accurate project scheduling to ensure that delivery plans are realistic and achievable * Review the status of project activities on a regular basis to ensure that activities are completed on time; develop contingency plans and implement corrective actions to deal with performance deviations **About You** * Engineering or business related degree, trade qualification or substantial industry experience Exp
