Parsons is now hiring an Inspectors with a great attention to detail to join a rapidly growing team, which will enhance the fabric of our community. We need our Inspectors to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team oriented environments that have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills. In this role you will: perform well defined and sometimes difficult inspection tasks, including monitoring quality control procedures. You will inspect various facets of work on the construction site and perform continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Our inspectors document nonconformance and may participate in discussions to determine appropriate resolution. Willingness to travel and/or to relocate to field sites is expected. ** _Responsibilities:_** o Carries out inspection activities to ensure conformance o Conducts site surveys, obtaining relevant information, equipment and materials o Searches for physical survey evidence (building ties, monuments, fences, etc.) and determines whether or not existing survey evidence suffices o Obtains additional survey evidence as necessary and determines when enough information has been obtained o Analyzes situations or data from which answers
