What You'll Do.
Inspect all facets of municipal utility
and sidewalk projects
Maintain meticulous records by documenting the Contractor's work
Keep an accurate log of contract days used and remaining
Verify daily quantities of work
Maintain precise records of personnel
Review change order requests
Verify that materials delivered to the job site match submittals
Conduct pre-project walks to identify potential conflicts
Advise the Contractor of insufficient traffic control
Coordinate scheduling for soils
Collaborate with local residents to mitigate construction impact
Maintain accurate as-built record drawings
Keep the Owner informed about work progress and field issues
Provide updated schedules to the Owner
