## Description Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Construction Estimator / Pre-Construction Specialist to support residential remodeling and renovation projects. This role is responsible for defining project scope, developing accurate estimates, and ensuring projects are fully prepared for execution. This position sits at the intersection of field evaluation, estimating, and pre-construction planning, ensuring financial accuracy and operational readiness before projects begin. ## Responsibilities 1. Site Evaluation & Scope Definition Conduct site visits to assess conditions, gather measurements, and define detailed project scope. 2. Estimating & Cost Development Develop accurate project estimates based on labor, materials, and construction methods while identifying risks, assumptions, and contingencies. 3. Pre-Construction Planning Translate client requirements and design input into clear, buildable scopes of work that support execution. 4. Change Order & Scope Control Identify scope gaps, manage changes, and ensure cost impacts are clearly documented and controlled. 5. Coordination with Sales & Operations Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure alignment between client expectations, pricing, and execution strategy. 6. Documentation & Accuracy Maintain detailed project records including takeoffs, specifications, and supporting documentation. ## Qualifications Construction & Remodeling ExpertiseStrong working knowledge of residential construction methods and remodeling workflows (kitchens, baths, additions), along with familiarity with key material systems such as cabinetry, tile, fixtures, and flooring. Ability to evaluate site conditions, understand constructability constraints, and anticipate trade sequencing and project challenges.
