Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to and from their work location, between facilities and job sites when necessary
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Currently enrolled in Construction Management, Architecture, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Data Science Engineering degree program, Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications, including technical construction drawings, Ability to work independently and in a team environment, Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion, Ability to learn and adapt to computer based programs and databases, Eagerness to learn and positive attitude

Knowledge of the design & construction industries
What You'll Do.
Support the construction team in the execution and design and engineering of affordable housing projects
Conduct research on building materials
building material costs
procurement lead times
constructability methods
and energy-efficient operation practices to support sustainable building practices
Monitor and document construction work in progress in Procore (e.g.
Submittals & Substitutions
and Pending Change Orders)
Assist with the preparation of project reports and documentation (e.g.
Assist with project closeout at the completion of construction (e.g.
startup & operating manuals
and labor warranties)
Assist with schedule tracking and controls (e.g.
Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure consistency and completeness
Scope quantity takeoff from plans and in-person field and field condition verifications for bidding and bid analyses
