What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field is required, 5+ years of experience in the Construction / Project Accounting Field
Nice to Have
Experience working with Large Construction Projects is a plus, Experience working in multiple currencies is a plus, Experience working in Netsuite is a plus, Ability to successfully work and excel in a remote setting, Ability to handle multiple projects at one time and work in a high-volume, fast paced transaction-oriented environment, Growth oriented mindset, desire to learn and share knowledge to help others succeed, Proficient in Microsoft Office advanced Excel skills preferred
What You'll Do.
Responsible for project set up
Maintaining budgets and commitments
Budget variations and change order management
Analyze and approve project specific accounts payable invoices
Approve purchase orders
Accurately prepare client invoicing
Assist Finance with accurate project cash flow reporting
Prepare cost summaries related to construction activities
Support in project inquiries
Review and investigate construction project variances
Prepare and review project cost reports
Manage vendor compliance
Manage preliminary lien notices
Communicate with General Contractors
Communicate with vendors
Work closely with the finance team
Support overall project and financial operations
Perform other duties as required
