up to 50% travel frequency to SGMW facility in Liuzhou, Willing to conduct and participate in conference calls outside normal work hours, Willing to travel with up to 50% of the working time, This role is categorized as onsite, The successful candidate is expected to report to the Advanced Technical Center in Shanghai, The selected candidate will be required to travel on a regular basis (25-50%) for this role

Must Have

5-10 years of experience of related technical domain, Fully qualified and experienced in project management, Experience in in-vehicle development process, product development, execution, Experience with automotive electrical systems and functional sub-systems, High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with local partner and global team, Advanced analytical and problem-solving techniques to solve wide range of non-standard problems with minimal guidance, Demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English, Exhibits effective program management practices, be able to clearly define program scope, status, timeline, and resource planning alignment with business objectives through timely delivery and adherence to quality standards, Good at identifying potential program risks and key technical interdependencies and be able to timely develops mitigation strategies and action plans, Fosters cross functional collaboration as a key enabler for program to run, especially with product and engineering, and partners with strategic communication, motivation and interpersonal skills in managing medium to large programs with dependencies/interlocks, more than one timeline and deliverable at a time, Willing to conduct and participate in conference calls outside normal work hours, This role is categorized as onsite, The selected candidate will be required to travel on a regular basis (25-50%) for this role

Nice to Have

Experience in systems engineering, vehicle integration, or validation will be a plus, Expertise in Telematics, Connectivity or Infotainment software development is preferred, BS in Software / Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics Engineering is preferred, PMP certified is preferred

**Job Description** **Work Arrangement** _This role is categorized as on-site. The successful candidate is expected to report to the Advanced Technical Center in Shanghai and up to 50% travel frequency to SGMW facility in Liuzhou as business need._ **The Role -** Along with the growth of China automotive industry, the export of China local vehicle products are also getting rapid growth. GM is also trying to have Onstar service enabled in those exports vehicles that produced by local partner in different market. In this position you will be responsible to ensure GM’s global Onstar solution will working properly in China local partner’s export vehicle programs. **What You’ll Do** * Be the main resource in planning for export program software releases and program timing, and shall demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of connectivity area. * Manage and lead the connectivity development work with local partner and supplier to ensure the local connectivity solution can work well in each market region, with domain expertise across key functions with programs, engineering, product, supplier, DRE, developer, etc… * Work with each stakeholders to ensure the overall development timing can meet the launch timing of each market, with expertise in leading the changes and forecasting upcoming events. * Work with GM global development team and program team to ensure the GM’s Onstar requirement and deliveries can well align with the overall module timing, and show a broader understanding of connectivity area.
