Key job responsibilities Develop, design, and deliver networking architecture and system hardware initiatives Establish standards and define guidelines for physical deployments at hyperscale data centers Build mechanisms to identify and remediate failures to improve health of networking links Troubleshoot and resolve large scale issues impacting data center performance Conduct data collection and analysis to monitor and alarm on network / system / link quality Build automation to improve testing and validation of networking hardware About the team Within AWS Networking, the Network Product Development (NPD) organization is responsible for designing the hardware, building the software, and owning the interconnects for the routers that power the global AWS network. Beyond product delivery, we actively manage the fleet or routers in a network that grows by 70% annually. This means tracking key business and operational metrics to ensure that we operate smoothly and minimize or eliminate customer impact
