Must Have
A background in conference services, events planning, or group management within a luxury hospitality environment, Confidence managing multiple programmes at different stages of planning with high attention to detail, Proven ability to build rapport and trust with high expectation clients, Commercially minded, with experience identifying and converting upsell opportunities, understanding of contracts, billing processes, and commercial terms, Previous exposure to Food and Beverage operations, ideally Banquet Operations, Highly organised, with a disciplined approach to systems, forecasting, and record keeping, Natural leadership style, with the ability to support and develop junior team members, Flexibility to work occasional weekends where business requires
What You'll Do.
Planning and delivery of conferences
Serving as the primary point of contact for clients
Managing all event details
Balancing client care with commercial awareness
Identifying opportunities to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue
Leading and supporting the Conference Services Executive
Owning the full event planning journey
Building long term relationships with clients and meeting planners
Proposing and converting upselling opportunities
Acting as the central liaison for all event elements
Ensuring accurate management of all contractual terms
Maximizing function space utilisation
Conducting site inspections and property tours
Maintaining up to date and accurate forecasts and records
Communicating all group and event requirements clearly to internal departments
Overseeing corporate and social events
Following up with clients
and developing the Conference Services Executive
