Manage and ensure success of Events Team
Liaise with businesses and clients to arrange events
Oversee department's sales function
Gain new business through upselling
Conduct site inspections
Communicate to new and repeat clients
Qualify event proposals
Identify key need periods
Assist with promotional ideas
Implement and send out specials
Serve as liaison with vendors
Negotiate for space contracts
Arrange food and beverage
Order audiovisual equipment
Ensure appropriate décor
