We work with some of the top research organizations and facilities in the country including multiple institutes at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Axle is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the NCATS in Rockville, MD. Install and configure scientific enterprise-level applications on end-user machines. Work to provide continual operability of chemistry related software applications performing daily troubleshooting and maintenance. Provide support to end-users, including troubleshooting and assistance. Act as primary contact with software vendors to verify all licenses, upgrades, and patches are up to date and confirm compatibility with other software packages. Involvement with ASPIRE program regarding the extraction, curation, and management of electronic notebook data. System administrator for PerkinElmer Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), ChemBioOffice Enterprise (CBOE), CambridgeSoft ChemDraw, Mestrelab Mnova Suite. Work with subject matter experts on the selection, implementation and support of software systems used by researchers. Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to improve laboratory operations and instrument data analysis. Coordinate with IT support team, Informatics, and software vendors to ensure proper maintenance of applications and database servers, including patch
